ABOUT THIS ITEM: A beautiful addition to any Henry lever-action rifle, this premium quality leather wrap kit makes it easy for you to add a whole new dimension to the look and feel of your Henry. These snug fitting lever wraps soften the edges of your lever and greatly increase comfort.
Measuring for Lever and Trigger Guard Wraps In an effort to reduce errors and improve your experience, we have simplified our lever wrap kit options and selection process. All you have to do is measure the length of your lever and select the correct size. To measure your lever, please use a soft tape measure or string to measure the length (along the outside of the lever loop) from the center of where the trigger guard and loop meet, back to the top curve where the loop approaches the stock when the action is closed.
Select the lever wrap kit length closest to your measurement without going over. For example, if your measurement came out to be 5.5" long, please select the wrap kit size 5.25" and NOT 5.75" Trigger Guards:
Straight Trigger Guard Shape To measure your trigger guard, please use a soft tape measure or string to measure the length (along the oustide of the trigger guard) from where the trigger guard begins at the receiver, back to the center of where the trigger guard and lever loop meet. Below are some images of example measurements:
If you are unsure of the fit, please call us at 385-707-3751 to confirm size prior to ordering. While each kit is carefully cut to fit your lever exactly sometimes slight variations in the leather thickness can result in a slightly looser or tighter fitting wrap. Since leather is a natural product, this does happen on occasion. If your installed wrap is looser than you'd prefer, please reach out to us for suggestions on how to tighten it. PLEASE NOTE: This is a natural product and there will be small variations in color and thickness that are beyond our control. The lever wraps are cut very carefully to fit each model of lever, but even a half millimeter of difference in leather thickness (which is normal and unavoidable across a hide) may result in a slightly tighter or looser fit. Kit Includes:
PROFESSIONAL WRAPPING:
Below is old information regarding Henry lever models and sizes. We have left this here just in case anyone finds it helpful, but it is NOT to be used to help determine fitment anymore. For best results, please measure your Henry lever to determine the correct kit size. Thank you! We provide lever wrap kits for the following lever models: Henry .22 H001 Model Standard Loop
Trigger Guard wrap option not available for H001 models because the trigger sits too close to the guard and the leather wrap will interfere with the action. Henry Standard Loop
Henry Large Loop H006, H012 and Henry Large Loop H001TER Evil Roy
Henry Large Loop for Models H009/H010/H018/Henry XModel Series/Henry AXE Pistol Shotgun
PLEASE NOTE: Henry Medium Loop with mark H9X-23 stamped into the side is a different sized medium lever and the usual medium lever kit will not fit this model. Please be sure to select "Medium Loop XModel "H9X-23"" for these models. Please reference image below:

ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS:
All of our items at Hellhound are works of art that are made to order and handcrafted one at a time in our workshop in Utah.
These are not mass produced or made ahead of time and each holster is carefully hand cut and crafted to fit your firearm.
Hand-Built from the Hide Up
At Hellhound, there are no assembly lines. Every piece begins as an original concept on Gavin’s workbench, meticulously drafted into heavy-duty templates to guarantee absolute precision. We hand-trace and cut every single pattern directly from premium, full-grain hides. From there, we rely on time-honored methods—hand-tooling, assembling, dyeing, and burnishing the edges until they are flawlessly smooth. Finally, the piece is set with heavy-duty solid brass hardware. Nothing leaves our Rocky Mountain workshop until it passes a rigorous inspection, ensuring it meets the uncompromising standard our family name was built on.
The Materials of Our Trade
A master craftsman is only as good as his materials, which is why we source exclusively from the oldest and most renowned tanneries in the United States. Our foundational full-grain hides come from Wickett & Craig in Pennsylvania and the legendary Horween Leather Co. in Chicago—heritage institutions that have spent over a century perfecting their sustainable, world-class tanning techniques. For our premium custom builds, we turn to American Tanning & Leather in Georgia and Pan American Leather in New York. Like us, these are multi-generational family businesses deeply committed to uncompromising quality. Paired with heavy-duty solid brass hardware manufactured in Maine, every piece we build is anchored in excellence.
Furthermore, our integrity extends to our sourcing: every exotic skin we use is strictly CITES certified and ethically procured.
Leather & Legacy
Our premium full-grain leathers are designed to age beautifully. Over time, your piece will absorb the natural oils from your hands, darkening slightly and developing a rich, custom patina that tells the story of its carry and your travels. That enduring quality comes standard. Hand-built by our family and a small team of skilled artisans in the Western Rocky Mountains, every piece is uncompromisingly American-made and promised to last a lifetime.
