Acrylic Bullet Loop Template | Leathercraft Pattern for Western Rigs

Bullet Loop Templates cut from 1/8 inch clear quality cast Acrylic - sturdy, durable and very easy to use with a metal scratch awl, pen or even a blade. Our acrylic cartridge loop patterns are ideal for leathercrafters with intermediate experience.

These are the exact same bullet loop patterns that we use every day in our shop: designed and cut by Hellhound Leather Co.

Bullet loop templates are 2.5" wide to sit easily on a standard western gun belt. Each bullet loop template comes with 18 "loop" cutouts - offering plenty of rounds without needing to move your template often. Standard bullet loop strap width is 1" and should be a 6/8oz weight.

.45lc / .44mag: Template is 2.5" wide, 15.2" long, intended for a 1" wide bullet loop strap

.357mag / .38spec: Template is 2.5" wide, 13.8" long, intended for a 1" wide bullet loop strap

.327 / .32H&R: Template is 2.5" wide, 12.6" long, intended for a 1" wide bullet loop strap

.22lr / .17hmr: Template is 2.5" wide, 12.3" long, intended for a .5" wide bullet loop strap

.308 / .338: Template is 2.75" wide and is designed for a 2.75" wide or 3" wide gun belt. Can be used with a 2.5" wide gun belt, at the crafter's discretion. 15.5" long. Main Loop width is 1", lower loop width is .5"

.30-30Win / .223 / .243: Template is 2.75" wide and is designed for a 2.75" wide or 3" wide gun belt. Can be used with a 2.5" wide gun belt, at the crafter's discretion. 14.3" long. Main Loop width is 1", lower loop width is .5"

.30-06 / .270 / .7mmRemMag: Template is 3" wide and is designed for a 3" wide gun belt. Can be used with a 2.5" wide gun belt, at the crafter's discretion. 14.3" long. Main Loop width is 1", lower loop width is .5"

For our premium custom builds, we turn to American Tanning & Leather in Georgia and Pan American Leather in New York.
